K was unable to log into her computer.

Resolution:
We reminded K that we changed her password yesterday, while we were on the phone with her.

Ah, don't feel badly. A few weeks ago, I was out for a day and the passwords all got reset. Since I was gone, nobody bothered to tell me. And I show up for work earlier than anybody else, so was sitting around unable to do anything until somebody else finally showed up.
