Only in America is overeating considered heroic (food eating contests)...
And well, it makes sense that fat people abound. Crappy, tasty food is cheaper than good food, and already made.
I think the problem goes hand in hand with the world stigma against America that we're all lazy, do-nothings. Well, kinda true.
