The upcoming man in my life…

He’s warbling, bearded and belongs in a different era. And he sings ironically about being in love with little boys. He reminds me of objects slanting shadows across my walls, paper lanterns, and when the first night of summer crosses over the darkness of the pool.

*Swoon* He’s whispering in my ear today.*

Who’s on repeat for you?

*Sure it's months from now and not even in town, but hey, we're going and so I'll be excited this far out before anyway. We'll make a night of it. If only we knew the first thing about Philadelphia...two NY newbies and no clue. Here's hoping King Tut is still in town.

Philly is not as fun as NY, that's the only advice I have to offer.

I'll check out these hippys if you like 'em though. But if I hate 'em, I'm making you pay for your own ticket. Just kidding. Sorta.

You are dangerously close to wearing burlap and dancing around a crystal nowadays ;)

Oh stop. Philly is lots of fun, I remember thinking that the last time I went, just that I had no idea what I was doing. They have that unbelievable museum of medical oddities too. I MUST go back there.

Plus, didn't you see The Real World? Partay!

I'm listening to the ocean breeze but only from a shell on my desk as I try to finish this term paper.

Funny how the fate works for some, though seemingly not for us. Just today I was lamenting the fact that I'll never meet my dream woman, though it seems she's no stranger to "the upcoming man in (your) life"...
