In the meantime...

Because I'm frantically trying to assemble this, and assemble that, because I'm figuring out if an out-and-out dream born of insanity and wild speculation can actually be fulfilled, I'm busy compiling papers and perfecting essays. Too busy, in fact, to write a proper post today that you'll enjoy. Instead click on down to one of my first and favorites, and please let me know what you think, since hearing from you is always the brightest part of my day.

I'll offer you this: After a post like yesterday's, I think you've found the balance that people age 35 on 3 piece suits cry to their shrinks about: That is, yeah, put in the time, write essay, reply to the inquiries and staple the papers, but more importantly, go outside and find the things that will make you smile when you're too old and fragile to experience anymore. Good luck on your essay by the way!

This is going to sound like BS, but it's true. Everything you write has the shine of brilliance, it's hard to like one piece more than another. You have the eye for great writing, keep up the work.

Thanks all for being so wonderful, even when I take the easy way out and direct you to an old post (essays are still not done, but at least I'm back blogging). Jae and mamakraft, words of encouragement like that make me want to quit my job and run off into the sunset writing--thanks to you and all the supporters of this page--I appreciate it more than I can articulate. Anothertwentysomething, amydell and m, if you all believe in me, then it's got to be possible...

K, darling. What are you gathering essays for? Is there something you have yet to share with me? How are we supposed to share a drink at 40/40 if you can't even share what's going on. I'm hurt. I think I will assuage the pain by reading one of your first and favorites.

I loved this post. As I love everything you write. Seriously, have you been published anywhere? I mean, ANYWHERE? Because it's a crime to be "almost literary" when you're more "literary" than I am.

Love. Your. Blog.

Miss K

I would hate for you to forget how you defiantly sipped those Bud Lights with blaring permanent black marker "X"s on your hands and told the world, incriminating snap-shots and all, that you were Nineteen and un-stopable! That cocky mixture of youth and young love ;)
